Strauss (R.) and Elvis

David Lynch always amazes, but the final sequence of Wild at heart is great:

The way it morphs from Richard Strauss to Elvis, almost seamlessly, making both even more intense; and then the song is filmed in one long take, the camera coiling around them amorously too.

Worth celebrating genius—all the more in the USA these days, where the list of “overrated” artists will be growing…
